Medical Services:
Occupational Therapist
An Occupational Therapist is available to promote health and well-being to enable the elderly to participate in activities to treat physical, mental and emotional ailments that impact a person's abilities to perform day-to-day tasks of everyday life.
Daily Clinic
We have a daily clinic from 08h30 – 09h00 available to all our residents only. Among the services in our daily clinic is to take blood pressures and temperatures. Providing wound care and the weighing of residents.
FRAIL CARE
The dedicated frail care Nurses and carers always work in co-ordination with the residents and their respective family members. The frail care provides the following services:
- Daily rounds by Senior Nurse.
- Laundry and cleaning services.
- Emergency call buttons.
- Administer medication and injections.
- A 24 Hour camera monitoring of the frail care residence.
- Monitoring blood pressures, diabetes and monthly weighing of residents.
- Attending to emergency incidents.
- Receiving blister pack medication from pharmacy on a weekly basis.
- Manicure’s and Pedicure’s; Massaging of hands, feet and legs
- Hair care
When the life circle is completed:
We understand that emotional support to our residents and their family members are just as important as taking care of them physically, as age related medical conditions often change. We assist the residents to adjust to these conditions. Our qualified nursing staff deals daily with cases of (to name only a few); Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Cancer and heart conditions and take care of the daily frail care needs with the necessary diligence.
